La mà de Guido dedica una de sus últimas novedades discográficas al compositor Jaime Bosch y Renard (1825-1895), conocido también como “Le Roi de la Guitare”. Como explica Josep Mª Mangado en las notas del disco, Bosch nació en Barcelona en 1825 y ya desde joven se inició en el piano y la guitarra. En 1846 fue invitado por los reyes a dar un concierto y comenzó una gira que le llevó por las principales ciudades españolas. En 1852 se marchó a París, donde a pesar de sus difíciles comienzos pronto consiguió un gran éxito. Ofreció continuas giras de conciertos por Francia, Alemania, Holanda y Bélgica al tiempo que se relacionaba con nombres como Manet, Baudelaire, Rossini, Flotow, Beriot, Neusted y Gounod. Con este último compuso en 1885 Passacaille, una obra para guitarra y violín. De su producción compositiva sólo se ha conservado una pequeña parte, la mayoría para guitarra sola. En el disco que nos ocupa se han grabado Dix mélodies pour guitare et chant y la anteriormente citada Passacaille, así como Brimborion, Étoiles et fleurs, Fantaisie dramatique, Retraite espagnole, Méditation, Ballade, Plainte moresque y Cello. La soprano Maria Teresa Garrigosa y el guitarrista Miguel Javaloy se han ocupado de la interpretación de las piezas con la colaboración de la violinista Patrycja Bronisz en Passacaille

The Guido mà dedicated one of his latest record the composer Jaime Bosch and Renard (1825-1895), also known as "Le roi de la Guitare". As the notes of the album explains Josep Mª Mangado, Bosch was born in Barcelona in 1825 and already from a young age began on piano and guitar. In 1846 he was invited by the Kings to give a concert and began a tour that took him by the main Spanish cities. In 1852 he went to Paris, where despite its difficult beginnings soon achieved a great success. Continuous concert by France, Germany, Holland and Belgium tours offered at the time that had to do with names like Manet, Baudelaire, Rossini, Flotow, Beriot, Neusted and Gounod. With this last composed in 1885 Passacaille, a work for guitar and violin. Only a small part, mostly for solo guitar has been preserved of his compositional output. In the record before us has been recorded Dix mélodies pour guitare et chant and the aforementioned Passacaille, as well as Brimborion, Étoiles et fleurs, Fantaisie dramatique, Retraite espagnole, Méditation, Ballade, Plainte moresque and Cello. GLOSSA RECUPERA DOS GRANDES GRABACIONES DE JOSÉ MIGUEL MORENO

El sello Glossa recupera en un álbum doble dos grabaciones descatalogadas protagonizadas por José Miguel Moreno. Se trata de La Guitarra Española (1536-1836) y La Guitarra Española (1818-1918), discos que Moreno, concertista, investigador, constructor, coleccionista y cofundador del sello Glossa, grabó hace años y que forman parte de la historia de nuestra música. El primer CD recoge obras de Luys de Narváez, López, Luys Milán, Santiago de Murcia, Francisco Guerau y Fernando Sor; y el segundo, de Fernando Sor, Johann Kaspar Mertz, Francisco Tárrega y Miguel Llobet. Para este recorrido por cuatro siglos de guitarra española, Moreno, uno de los mayores especialistas en instrumentos históricos de cuerda pulsada, utilizó instrumentos construidos por Lourdes Uncilla y él mismo. Ambas grabaciones pueden ser de nuevo adquiridas gracias a esta reedición.

The Glossa label retrieves two print recordings by José Miguel Moreno in a double album. It's guitar Hispaniola (1536-1836) and Hispaniola guitar (1818-1918), discs that Moreno, concert pianist, researcher, Builder, collector and co-founder of the Glossa label, recorded as part of the history of our music and years ago. The first CD collects works of Luys Narváez, López, Luys Milan, Santiago de Murcia, Francisco Guerau and Fernando Sor; and the second, Fernando Sor, Johann Kaspar Mertz, Francisco Tárrega and Miguel Llobet. For this journey through four centuries of Spanish guitar, Moreno, one of the leading specialists in historical plucked instruments, used instruments built by Lourdes Uncilla and himself. Both recordings can be again acquired with this reissue.
